The Sunday Morning Experience for 30 months-5th grades

Circle Time
During this sharing time, the children introduce themselves and share how their week went or answer a particular question or do an activity relating to the day's lesson. This is followed by a moment of silence and often some Unity songs.

The Story
Depending on the curriculum, they are either read a Bible story or a spiritually based contemporary children's story dealing with the lesson of the day.

Personalization
This is the time for the students to actively explore the new ideas and to make them their own. During this time, the students are guided to see how these ideas have meaning in their own lives and to practice using them.

Creative Expression
This is a time to have the students uniquely apply the concepts in a lesson-based art project, game, activity, skit or other type of expression.

Closing
Prior to the end of the Service, the children and teens join the adults in the Sanctuary for a special blessing acknowledging their contribution to our spiritual family, followed by the Peace Song, then are dismissed and return to their classrooms where they conclude class with a short closing prayer prior to parent pick-up.
