 Connect with Others
There are many, many opportunities to serve and be served at Christ Church Unity.

We have regular classes to stretch your mind and deepen your spirituality, social events to help you connect with others, outings for groups and families and so much more.

What Brings You Joy?

 I don’t know who wrote the side quote. It is on a picture I have in my home. The picture is of a little boy holding up a conch shell for a little girl to listen to. I chose this picture to remind me that I can hear God’s message in everything if I only quiet down the chatter and listen. In this way I can know a wonderful CONNECTION to God.

At Christ Church Unity, the purpose of the CONNECTIONS Ministry is to help you find a way to enjoy using your gifts/talents in serving God and in finding your special place in the community of our church family. When we quiet the chatter in our minds, we can each know that we are blessed with wondrous gifts to be used in the service of God, ourselves and our church.  Thank you, God!

Membership

As a member of Christ Church Unity, you may move into positions of leadership that become available and suit your talents as well as vote at meetings.

Members are asked to:
 

  • Attend services regularly.

  • Affirm the highest and best for themselves, others, and this ministry through a life of prayer.

  • Serve in ministry opportunities in accordance with their gifts, talents and passions.

  • Support this ministry financially.

If you desire to make a formal commitment to Christ Church Unity, you begin by completing an "Application for Membership" form and taking it to the Connections Center.

You then attend a two-day Membership Class, which includes Unity Basics and an orientation session. Membership Class is offered twice a year.

The next class is scheduled for Saturday, January 26, 2008 and Saturday, February 2, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Both sessions will be held in Friendship Hall.

There is no fee for this class and childcare will be provided.
You need not join the church unless you feel guided to do so. .
